Deposits are now being accepted for whole hogs for late summer/early fall 2024!
These pigs thrive on pasture that I seed specifically for their dietary needs. Pigs are finished on a ration of apples, as well as a ration of locally mixed non-GMO hog feed (no corn or soy), on our small farm in Kelowna. I perform custom butchering through our abattoir, please note sausage and bacon are available at an extra cost.
Half Hog:
A side of pork has a hanging weight of approximately 160-220 lbs. This is before the meat is butchered into your chops, roasts, loin, ribs, hams etc.
Cost is $7.00/lbs hanging weight. This includes basic butchering costs.
I send you a custom butchering form 2 weeks before they are due for processing.
You're looking at about 130 lbs of butchered meat from a 180lb hanging weight side of pork.
I will also save extra fat, offal and bones at your request.
This will cost you approximately $1120-1540 per hog.
